All over Roero the Nebbiolo grapes have started to be harvested.
For reference, Roero rosso is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes and as such it’s one of the most important grape varieties for the region.
The harvest is started the last week of September and it will end around the 10th of October, though there will be some give or take on the date.
Thanks to the perfect and favorable climate conditions in the spring and summer 2015 Nebbiolo grapes are in perfect health and appearance: we expect an exceptional vintage!
Stay tuned for more information as we have it and a taste of the Roero rosso in two years!
